Role Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Power User to support the implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) for a new logistics center and automated warehouse in Västerås, Sweden. The consultant will play a key role in implementing and optimizing warehouse processes, maintaining accurate master data, and supporting the logistics organization throughout the introduction of the new solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of SAP EWM for a new factory, logistics center, and automated warehouse.
- Support the design, implementation, and optimization of warehouse processes.
- Create, maintain, and validate warehouse-related master data.
- Help ensure data quality and process accuracy throughout the implementation.
- Support logistics users during the transition to new processes and systems.
- Prepare and deliver training for employees using the new SAP EWM solution.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders while independently managing assigned activities.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- SAP ECC: Practical experience using SAP in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- SAP WM or SAP EWM: Three to five years of experience with SAP warehouse solutions, associated processes, or equivalent warehouse management systems.
- SAP S/4HANA: Previous exposure is advantageous but not mandatory.
- SAP MM and SAP PP: Experience with Materials Management or Production Planning is beneficial.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, control cycles, inventory management, and warehouse-related master data.
Qualifications & Experience
The assignment requires three to five years of relevant experience with SAP WM, SAP EWM, related warehouse processes, or equivalent systems. Experience from industrial manufacturing is preferred. The successful consultant must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team. Prior SAP S/4HANA or EWM experience is advantageous but not essential, as implementation training will be provided. Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English is required.
Location
This is an on-site consulting assignment based in Västerås, Sweden. The consultant must be available to work at the client location and participate in a dynamic implementation project supporting a new logistics center and automated warehouse.
