Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong DDS expertise

What You Will Work On

• Design and develop DDS-based communication architecture
• Define guidelines for Topics, Domains, Partitions and QoS profiles
• Optimize DDS networks for performance, latency, reliability and scalability
• Support requirements analysis and system dimensioning
• Support development teams using C, C++ and Python
• Troubleshoot latency, packet loss, discovery and resource issues
• Work with DDSI and network communication
• Evaluate and introduce DDS tools, standards and best practices
• Work with real-time, embedded or distributed systems
• Support integration across complex software environments

What You Bring

• Several years of hands-on experience with DDS
• Experience with RTI Connext, eProsima Fast DDS, OpenDDS, CoreDX or similar
• Deep understanding of Data-Centric Pub/Sub, Discovery, Topics, DataReaders and DataWriters
• Strong C and/or C++ skills
• Experience with Python is beneficial
• Experience with real-time, embedded or distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of Linux/RTOS
• Good understanding of UDP, multicast, routing and network QoS
• Good knowledge of DDSI
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken
