Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure / Platform Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Operate and support enterprise Linux environments, primarily RHEL or similar
• Support business-critical and COTS applications
• Operate workloads across Microsoft Azure, on-premises and Kubernetes
• Monitor and troubleshoot environments using Prometheus, Grafana and observability tools
• Perform upgrades, patching, maintenance windows and operational changes
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, applications, networking and performance issues
• Develop and improve automation using Ansible, Terraform and Helm
• Support Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Improve operational processes, standardization, security and reliability
• Collaborate with engineering, development, operations and product teams
• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
• Act as a technical expert and advisor to colleagues and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives

What You Bring

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure, platform engineering or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise Linux administration
• Strong knowledge of Linux services, logs, permissions, filesystems, performance and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of networking, storage and security
• Practical experience with Ansible, Terraform and Helm
• Experience operating workloads across Azure and on-premises environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containers
• Good understanding of monitoring and observability
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong security and governance mindset
• Experience working in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with agile ways of working
• Curious, solution-oriented and collaborative mindset
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical problems and deliver sustainable solutions
