Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Instrument & Control Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Lead the design and engineering of Instrumentation and Control systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Oversee all engineering activities, including work performed by internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Ensure that Instrument & Control systems are designed with consideration for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Instrument & Control systems within broader engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement work methods, procedures, and documentation to support efficient project execution.
  • Guide projects from the design phase through to construction, ensuring that all systems are built to specification and industry standards.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering with a specialization in instrumentation and control.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar industry, with significant experience in large-scale engineering facilities.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or other professional accreditation preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and piping design software, along with general computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards such as EN, PED, ASME, ANSI, and API.
  • Experience working in both brownfield and greenfield projects, with a track record of leading projects from design through to construction.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small team, with a focus on developing processes and ensuring quality.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Full technical proficiency in English, with native fluency preferred.
