Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience

What You Will Work On

• Design, build and improve platform capabilities on Google Cloud Platform
• Work hands-on with GKE, Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Develop and maintain Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Contribute to CI/CD and GitOps-based delivery
• Work with GCP networking, IAM, security and access management
• Develop reusable platform components and self-service capabilities
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, observability and operational reliability
• Support engineering teams onboarding workloads onto the platform
• Collaborate with architects, security and engineering teams
• Ensure scalable and secure platform solutions
• Contribute to technical standards, patterns and long-term platform improvements
• Take significant technical ownership while remaining hands-on

What You Bring

• Senior-level experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or DevOps
• Several years of hands-on production experience with GCP
• Strong practical experience with GKE and Kubernetes
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience designing or developing cloud platform foundations / landing zones
• Experience with IAM, workload identity, networking and cloud security
• Strong experience with CI/CD and automated software/infrastructure delivery
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability
• Experience supporting multiple engineering teams through common platform capabilities
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership
• Strong communication skills in English

Meritorious

• Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow and Pub/Sub
• Experience with Apache Beam
• Experience with data ingestion and streaming platforms
• Experience with GitOps
• Experience with Helm
• Experience with Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms
• Experience with Python and Bash
• Experience with Google Cloud networking and security services
• Multi-cloud experience with GCP, Azure and/or AWS
• Platform engineering in regulated or security-sensitive enterprise environments
• Experience with developer self-service and platform enablement
