Senior Test Lead – Quality Assurance & Test Management - 20099

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Lead to take overall responsibility for testing activities within a large-scale IT programme. You will define and drive the test strategy, coordinate testing teams, and ensure that testing is aligned with technical requirements and business objectives throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, agile team leads, and internal and external delivery teams to ensure effective test planning, execution, risk management, and quality reporting.

What You Will Work On

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy and test plan.
• Establish testing scope, objectives, deliverables, test data, and environment requirements.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities and test execution across teams.
• Monitor test progress, defects, and quality metrics.
• Identify testing risks and define appropriate mitigation actions.
• Communicate test status, issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate QA, business, and delivery teams to ensure testing meets business and technical needs.
• Maintain test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
• Support testing practices in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Test Lead in large and complex IT programmes.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating end-to-end testing activities.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and test automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious

• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools.
• Experience in large-scale and complex technology environments.
• ISTQB Certified Test Manager or equivalent certification.
