Senior Test Lead - Solna/Gothenburg - 20013/20018

Assignment Description

The client is running a major business transformation program focused on retail processes, merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, allocation, store replenishment, markdowns, and product phase-out.

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to establish test strategies, plan and coordinate testing activities, manage defects, and ensure quality throughout implementation. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, business stakeholders, IT teams, solution architects, and external suppliers.

Hybrid work is available, with 2–3 days per week in the office.

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain test strategies and test plans.
• Plan, lead, and coordinate testing across projects and delivery streams.
• Ensure test scope, test cases, and test data are defined and validated.
• Coordinate system testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and UAT.
• Track defects, risks, and corrective actions.
• Report test progress, quality metrics, and risks to project management.
• Coordinate testing across business, IT, and external suppliers.
• Improve test processes, methods, and tools.
• Ensure testing meets project timelines and quality objectives.

What You Bring

• At least 5 years of experience as a Test Lead in complex IT and business transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading system, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Experience with large-scale transformation or business system implementations.
• Strong understanding of test methodologies, test processes, and quality management.
• Experience in requirements management and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with test tools and issue-tracking systems.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English.

Meritorious

• Retail, assortment planning, or supply chain experience.
• Implementation projects involving multiple external suppliers.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
• Experience with agile and hybrid project methods.
• Experience with integration platforms or complex enterprise system landscapes.
