Job Overview
Role Summary
We are seeking a Tech Lead for a consulting assignment with overall technical and architectural responsibility for the development of a central platform. The role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, and hands-on guidance of the development team to ensure that the platform evolves in line with business needs and long-term objectives.
You will establish technical guardrails, contribute to the product roadmap, and support the team in making sound technical and architectural decisions. The assignment also involves monitoring developments in Generative AI, analytics platforms, and adjacent technology areas to keep the solution relevant and forward-looking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the development team in the technical evolution of a central platform.
- Own the overall technical and architectural direction of the solution.
- Define technical principles, standards, and architectural guardrails.
- Contribute to the platform roadmap and align technical priorities with business needs and long-term goals.
- Support and challenge technical design choices and architectural decisions within the team.
- Monitor developments in Generative AI, analytics platforms, and related technology areas.
- Coordinate with other teams and functions to support shared ways of working and a common technical direction.
- Identify, raise, and help resolve technical issues, ambiguities, and risks.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Python and FastAPI.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with BigQuery and SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of solution architecture and technical architecture for platform-oriented environments.
- Interest in and awareness of Generative AI and analytics platform technologies.
Qualifications & Experience
You have a relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience. You bring experience in technical leadership and technical architecture, along with the ability to work independently in a structured and analytical manner. The role requires a thorough approach to troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders. You communicate clearly, are comfortable challenging assumptions, and proactively escalate issues when requirements or outcomes are unclear.
