Job Overview
Role Summary
An experienced Solution Architect is needed for a large-scale digitalisation initiative within product and business development. The role is responsible for solution architecture across an area where multiple systems and processes will be connected into a more unified, scalable application landscape.
You will act as a bridge between business needs, information requirements and technical implementation, working closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Product Owners, development teams and fellow architects. The assignment combines strategic architecture work with hands-on technical analysis and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain solution architecture for interconnected systems, processes and application capabilities.
- Analyse information needs and model data, information flows and relationships across the solution landscape.
- Specify integrations, APIs and technical interfaces between business-critical systems.
- Produce solution designs that can be implemented by development teams.
- Ensure information is structured, reusable and sustainably managed across different parts of the solution.
- Translate business requirements into concrete technical solutions and implementation guidance.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and complex integration or information-management issues.
- Guide development teams in architecture, design patterns and technical choices.
- Collaborate with adjacent initiatives and architecture functions to ensure alignment with a coherent, long-term sustainable system landscape.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong experience in Solution Architecture within complex system landscapes.
- Documented expertise in Information Modeling and Data Modeling.
- Experience designing and specifying System Integrations between business-critical systems.
- Strong understanding of API Design, integration patterns and information exchange between systems.
- Experience supporting development teams with technical analysis, solution design and implementation.
- Ability to work across target architecture, detailed technical analysis, architecture patterns and operational problem-solving.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate has proven experience working with complex technical and information-related challenges, including the ability to analyse requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions. You should be able to independently drive complex topics with limited direction while collaborating effectively across business, development and architecture stakeholders. A pragmatic, structured and analytical approach is essential, together with the ability to balance a strategic perspective with attention to technical detail.
