System Developer

Role Summary

An experienced .NET System Developer is needed for a full-time consulting assignment supporting the gradual delivery of digital solutions for examination registration, payment, test administration and publication of examination results. The consultant will enhance and adapt existing solutions while developing new functionality for registration, payment and result-notification processes. The role has a full-stack focus, with particular interest in frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Further develop functionality for examination registration, payment and result notifications as part of an agile development team.
• Build new capabilities and adapt existing functionality within a client-developed registration and payment solution.
• Develop integrations with external and internal systems, including potential payment, user-management and comparable administrative systems.
• Contribute to sustainable, maintainable, testable and well-structured code through test-driven development.
• Ensure high code quality and reliable system functionality through unit, integration, delivery, regression and acceptance testing in collaboration with team members.
• Create user stories based on business requirements and user needs.
• Document technical solutions and development work in a structured manner.
• Provide third-line user support when required.

Technical Stack & Requirements

• At least five years of documented development experience in .NET, using C# and .NET Core or later.
• Hands-on full-stack development experience across both frontend and backend development in at least two assignments.
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Practical experience applying Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing and delivery testing.
• Experience working in agile development teams using Scrum.
• Experience with system integrations, preferably involving payment solutions, user management or similar administrative systems.

Qualifications & Experience

The assignment requires competence level 3, corresponding to approximately 4–8 years of professional experience, and explicitly requires at least five years of documented .NET development experience. Candidates must be able to work independently, take ownership of deliverables and communicate technical solutions clearly to stakeholders with non-technical backgrounds. Strong written and spoken Swedish and English are required. Two reference assignments, including referees' email addresses and telephone numbers, must be available.

Work Logistics & Location

This is a full-time consulting assignment based in Stockholm, Sweden, running from 19 October 2026 through 18 April 2027, with an option to extend for two additional six-month periods. The role supports hybrid work, with remote work available approximately two days per week (40%) when the assignment permits. Availability for an interview during week 42, 12–16 October 2026, is required.
