Job Overview
Role Summary
An experienced Tester is required for a consulting assignment focused on quality assurance of a solution for assortment planning. The role involves working with complex business flows, integrations, and data to identify issues early and ensure the solution is ready for production deployment.
You will analyse requirements, use cases, and solution designs from a test perspective, and plan and execute structured, high-quality testing aligned with business and IT needs. The assignment requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, external suppliers, project management, product owners, developers, solution architects, integration teams, and the test lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse requirements, business processes, use cases, and solution designs from a quality assurance and test perspective.
- Independently design relevant test cases for business flows, functionality, integrations, and data.
- Prepare, execute, document, and report functional, integration, end-to-end, retesting, and regression testing activities.
- Prepare and quality-assure test data required for test execution.
- Identify, document, investigate, analyse, and follow up defects and deviations through to resolution.
- Communicate test results, identified risks, defects, and deviations to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the test lead, business representatives, IT teams, external suppliers, developers, product owners, solution architects, and integration teams.
- Contribute to ensuring the required quality level before production deployment.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong practical experience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
- Experience creating test cases independently based on requirements, processes, and business needs.
- Good understanding of system integrations, data flows, and troubleshooting in complex IT solutions.
- Experience using test tools and working with structured defect management.
- Practical experience with retesting and regression testing in complex delivery environments.
Qualifications & Experience
You have a relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in qualified testing of large-scale and complex IT solutions is required. You are expected to be comfortable working independently, conducting structured analysis, and driving testing activities forward. ISTQB certification, or equivalent certification, is advantageous. Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required.
