Job Overview
Role Summary
We are seeking a Workday Application Specialist for a consulting assignment focused on the maintenance, development, and optimisation of an HR systems environment. The role is responsible for ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement of Workday and related HR applications. You will work closely with HR, IT, and external partners to translate business needs into effective system support, enhancements, and efficient working practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and configure Workday and related HR applications.
- Ensure stable day-to-day application operations and provide user support.
- Handle incidents, troubleshoot application issues, and coordinate resolution with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather and clarify business requirements in dialogue with HR and other business functions.
- Drive system improvements and automation initiatives within the HR application landscape.
- Coordinate changes, testing activities, and releases with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Support end users and ensure that relevant application and process documentation is maintained.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Workday HR platform and related HR applications.
- Application management, system configuration, support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Requirements gathering and collaboration with business stakeholders and external vendors.
- ITIL/ITSM-based service management practices are advantageous.
- Agile ways of working are advantageous.
- Experience with Quinyx is considered beneficial.
Qualifications & Experience
You have experience in application management and HR systems, including configuration, support, and requirements dialogue. You are comfortable collaborating across business and IT functions as well as with external suppliers. Experience with Workday or Quinyx is advantageous, as is familiarity with ITIL/ITSM and agile working methods. Previous experience from retail or another transaction-intensive business environment is also beneficial.
