Role Summary
An experienced Azure Solution Architect is needed for a consulting assignment focused on reviewing and analysing an existing Microsoft Azure environment and creating a roadmap for its continued development. The role will assess the current state of the platform, evaluate its architecture, and identify improvement opportunities aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and evaluate the current Azure environment, including its architecture, services, configurations, and operating model.
- Identify improvement opportunities related to deployment, security, Azure services, configurations, cost and payment models, and Application Gateways.
- Analyse technical and business requirements and translate them into concrete solution proposals, recommendations, and action plans.
- Recommend appropriate Azure solutions, architectural approaches, and ways of working for the continued development of the cloud environment.
- Produce documentation, instructions, and implementation materials to support further development and execution.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Microsoft Azure cloud solution design and architecture.
- Azure security architecture and security configuration.
- Azure deployment practices and deployment architecture.
- Azure Application Gateway configuration and usage.
- Azure cost management and payment model evaluation.
- Architecture assessment, technical documentation, and solution roadmap development.
Qualifications & Experience
The consultant must have worked as an Azure Solution Architect or in an equivalent architecture role. Documented expertise in designing and architecting cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure is required. The ideal candidate has experience mapping, assessing, and documenting existing Azure environments, as well as analysing technical needs and converting them into actionable solution proposals, recommendations, and development plans. Strong knowledge of Azure security, deployment, and overall solution architecture is essential.
