Role Summary
An experienced Business Controller is needed to support and steer a portfolio of product development and customer-related projects. Acting as a finance business partner and trusted advisor to project managers and management teams, you will ensure financial transparency, control, and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. The portfolio includes product and service development initiatives as well as complex customer projects, with emphasis on profitability, resource efficiency, and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial planning, forecasting, follow-up, and performance monitoring for a diverse project portfolio.
- Analyze project profitability, business cases, investment proposals, cost development, and resource utilization.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and support the definition and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Prepare financial insights, performance analyses, and decision-support material for management and project stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project financial reporting related to budgets, resource utilization, and costs.
- Support portfolio management and business development through ad hoc financial analyses.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of controlling processes, tools, and reporting methods.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in engineering, sales, purchasing, production, and finance to translate financial data into clear business-oriented insights.

Qualifications & Experience
You hold a university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant experience includes controlling, financial analysis, project controlling, business controlling, or project management support. You should be able to understand technical, commercial, and financial drivers and have hands-on experience with budgets, forecasts, business cases, and financial reporting. Experience from product development, industrial operations, manufacturing, or customer-project environments is advantageous. The role requires professional fluency in English; Swedish language skills are beneficial.
