Assignment Description

We are looking for a Compliance Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and machine design. You will support compliance with machinery legislation, product regulations, and harmonised standards.

The role focuses on risk assessments, technical reports, technical documentation, and user manuals. You should be structured, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.

What You Will Work On

• Perform and document machinery risk assessments.
• Prepare technical reports and technical documentation.
• Develop and review user manuals and operating instructions.
• Ensure compliance with the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
• Apply relevant standards, including EN ISO 12100 for risk assessment and EN ISO 20607 for instruction manuals.
• Review applicable product legislation and harmonised standards.
• Manage several parallel tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.

What You Bring

• Background in mechanical engineering, preferably with a focus on machine design.
• Experience with risk assessments, report writing, and technical documentation.
• Experience preparing user manuals and operating instructions.
• Knowledge of the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
• Understanding of EN ISO 12100 and EN ISO 20607.
• Interest in product legislation and harmonised standards.
• A structured, precise, and results-oriented working style.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions.

Meritorious

• Additional experience with machinery safety and product compliance.
• Knowledge of other relevant harmonised standards and product legislation.
