Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer / AI Platform Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Build and operate services and integrations for the CodeE platform
• Develop reusable platform capabilities for engineering teams
• Integrate internal engineering systems, APIs and services
• Turn Volvo's engineering standards and guidelines into practical platform capabilities
• Design stable interfaces, APIs and clear service contracts
• Build telemetry and evaluation tooling
• Develop self-service onboarding, documentation and reference implementations
• Implement sensible defaults and security guardrails
• Collaborate directly with consuming engineering teams
• Work closely with developers, platform engineers and UX designers
• Own solutions from development through production and operations
• Ensure reliability, security and continuous improvement
• Support AI-assisted software development and GitHub Copilot-based solutions

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering or similar
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Shell
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure
• Experience with APIs and integrations
• Strong experience with CI/CD
• Experience building and operating production services
• Good understanding of software architecture and service interfaces
• Strong security and DevSecOps mindset
• Experience with automation and developer tooling
• Experience working with engineering teams and technical stakeholders
• Daily practical experience with AI coding tools
• Strong focus on developer experience and self-service solutions
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Professional fluency in English, written and spoken
