Role Summary
An experienced Embedded C Developer is needed for a consulting assignment in Lund. The role involves developing embedded software for complex, technically advanced products. Initially, the assignment combines hands-on Embedded C development with Configuration Management responsibilities. The balance between these areas may evolve over time, with a longer-term focus on software development and delivery of new functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance embedded software using C as the primary programming language.
- Implement new functionality and improve existing embedded codebases.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
- Perform testing activities to support software quality and reliability.
- Contribute to Configuration Management activities as part of the initial assignment scope.
- Collaborate closely with experienced cross-functional colleagues across software and hardware throughout the development lifecycle.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong practical experience in Embedded C development.
- Experience implementing, debugging, testing, and improving embedded software.
- Interest in and willingness to work with Configuration Management alongside software development.
- Ability to work in a technical environment involving close interaction between software and hardware.
Qualifications & Experience
The assignment requires an experienced Embedded C developer with a solid background in embedded software engineering. Previous exposure to Configuration Management is beneficial, and the candidate should be comfortable working in a cross-functional product development environment.
