Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Digital Engineering Data Lead

What You Will Work On

• Assess the current state of Digital Engineering data
• Identify critical data domains, entities and attributes
• Analyze how engineering data is structured and governed
• Assess data quality, consistency and traceability across the product lifecycle
• Identify key data management challenges and pain points
• Define principles and requirements for a robust Digital Thread
• Develop recommendations for the desired future state
• Create and maintain a Data Product roadmap
• Take the lead in the Data Product development domain
• Develop data governance material and supporting documentation
• Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations
• Communicate complex data concepts to both business and technical stakeholders
• Lead initiatives and drive alignment across a complex matrix organization
• Collaborate with engineering, data, business and technology stakeholders

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong understanding of engineering data across the product lifecycle
• Solid knowledge of data management
• Strong understanding of Digital Thread and Digital Engineering principles
• Experience working with data governance and data quality
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and influence without formal authority
• Experience working in complex matrix organizations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and business audiences
• Experience developing roadmaps and governance material
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Preferably located in Gothenburg
