Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to support an international industrial company's R&D organization in Södertälje.

The role focuses on financial steering, planning, forecasting, cost analysis, reporting and management support. You will act as a business partner to senior stakeholders and contribute to the development of financial management processes and models within a changing global organization.

What You Will Work On

• Drive financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Analyze and follow up R&D/development costs
• Support monthly and period-end financial closing
• Prepare financial reports and management presentations
• Follow up KPIs and financial performance
• Provide financial decision support to management teams
• Translate financial analysis into business recommendations
• Participate in strategic decisions and development initiatives
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and controlling functions
• Contribute to improvements of financial management processes and models

What You Bring

• Relevant academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar
• 5+ years of Business Controlling experience
• Strong experience in:Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Financial analysis
• Financial reporting
• Cost follow-up
• KPI analysis

Strong business understanding and ability to support business decisions

Experience working with management teams and senior decision-makers

Experience from complex and changing organizations

Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI skills

Fluent English, written and spoken

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Structured, proactive and independent working style

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
