Role Summary
An experienced Full Stack Developer is needed for a product area focused on modernising and digitalising ways of working in physical operational environments. The assignment follows Spec-Driven Development (SDD), where clear specifications, AI-assisted development and automation are central to the delivery process.
You will translate business needs into production-ready functionality rapidly and efficiently. Using AI development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot, you will contribute across the complete development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality product features across the full technology stack.
- Build modern web applications using React and Next.js.
- Develop backend services, BFF solutions, APIs and integrations with data stores and central business systems.
- Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from user interfaces to underlying services and data flows.
- Apply Spec-Driven Development practices to ensure specifications guide implementation and delivery.
- Use AI-assisted development workflows to improve delivery speed, quality and automation.
- Design and develop APIs and integrations for data layers and backend systems.
- Collaborate on component libraries and interface design assets using Storybook and Figma.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
- Strong backend development experience in Node.js or equivalent technology.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience designing and implementing Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture.
- Experience with API design, API development and system integrations.
- Experience integrating solutions with data stores, data services and backend systems.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows, including Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with Storybook, component libraries and Figma.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal consultant is a senior full stack developer with demonstrated experience delivering features quickly while maintaining high quality through AI-assisted development practices. Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Integration Services, event-driven architecture, data platforms, information models, and integrations with ERP or business systems is advantageous. Experience from retail or grocery retail environments is also considered beneficial.
