Role Summary
An experienced Integration Developer is needed for a consulting assignment focused on developing, maintaining, and enhancing a data and analytics platform. The role is central to ensuring that data is collected, processed, quality-assured, and made available to the business efficiently and reliably.
You will work closely with technical teams responsible for source systems, developers, analysts, and other stakeholders. The assignment involves developing, maintaining, monitoring, and improving integrations between internal and external systems, data sources, and the data and analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and optimize integration and Change Data Capture (CDC) flows from source systems to Databricks.
- Ensure robust, scalable, and reliable data transfer across source systems, streaming platforms, and the analytics environment.
- Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot connectors, topics, and other integration connections.
- Develop and maintain file-based data ingestion flows and API integrations.
- Investigate and resolve integration-flow issues, including initial loads, reloads, reconciliations, and complex technical integration challenges.
- Manage source-system changes, such as the introduction of new tables and changes to existing data structures.
- Document data flows, technical solutions, processes, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Work in accordance with established principles for information security, data protection, and data governance.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong experience with Confluent Kafka and Kafka Connect; experience with Debezium is preferred.
- Experience designing and managing real-time streaming flows and Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions.
- Experience with technologies such as Oracle GoldenGate and IBM InfoSphere for data integration is relevant.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Programming experience in Python and/or Java.
- Experience developing and maintaining ETL and ELT processes.
- Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure and Databricks.
- Experience monitoring and optimizing integration components using tools such as Grafana.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and Infrastructure as Code is advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience as an Integration Developer or in a similar role. You should have a solid understanding of data modelling, data structures, data flows, and technical documentation. Experience with data quality, metadata management, master data, and data governance is advantageous. Experience working with agile development methods and cross-functional teams is also beneficial. Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is required.
