Role Summary
An experienced IT Test Manager/Test Lead is needed for a long-term consulting assignment within the pensions and insurance sector. The client is completing the final phase of a migration from the existing Fenix insurance system to Lumera. The role combines hands-on testing with test leadership and cross-team coordination.
The consultant will join Team Fenix and take responsibility for testing the migration solution and supporting the execution of the migration. The assignment includes coordinating test activities across multiple teams to ensure a coherent and effective end-to-end testing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate testing activities related to the migration from Fenix to Lumera.
- Perform hands-on testing of the migration solution and migration implementation.
- Coordinate test planning, execution, dependencies, and follow-up across several teams.
- Drive the full test lifecycle, from early test ideas and test design through execution and documentation.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test data.
- Document test activities, findings, results, and relevant test evidence with a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders involved in the migration initiative.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Experience with Lumera insurance platforms is required.
- Experience with insurance-system migration testing.
- Practical expertise in test planning, test design, test case creation, test data preparation, and test execution.
- Experience coordinating testing across multiple delivery teams.
- Strong test documentation capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal consultant is an experienced IT Test Manager or Test Lead with a combination of practical test execution and test coordination experience. Previous experience from the pensions and insurance domain, particularly involving the Lumera platform and migration from a legacy insurance system, is highly relevant. The role requires a structured and detail-oriented approach, strong documentation skills, and the ability to guide and collaborate with several teams.
