Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer – Linux Platform

What You Will Work On

• Maintain and develop the Linux kernel
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux platform components
• Work with bootloaders and Board Support Packages (BSP)
• Develop and maintain Yocto recipes
• Develop and debug Linux device drivers
• Develop and maintain custom middleware
• Work closely with hardware teams on board support software
• Analyze hardware specifications and schematics
• Debug low-level software and hardware-related issues
• Work with low-level protocols and interfaces
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts
• Support networking and wireless technologies
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers
• Apply cybersecurity principles and relevant standards to platform development

What You Bring

• Technical university degree, preferably MSc in Software Engineering or related field
• Practical experience maintaining Linux and operating systems for embedded platforms
• Strong proficiency in C programming
• Strong experience with Bash scripting
• Experience with Linux kernel and low-level platform development
• Ability to read and work with hardware specifications and schematics
• Understanding of low-level protocols, interfaces and debugging
• Knowledge of networking protocols and wireless technologies
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and relevant standards
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with both software and hardware teams
