Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-wide data and analytics solutions
• Build and manage data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse
• Develop data pipelines, data models and analytics solutions
• Develop data solutions across AWS and Microsoft Fabric
• Build solutions using Apache Spark / Spark Notebooks
• Work with modern Data Lakehouse architectures
• Support AWS Data Lake to Microsoft Fabric migration
• Optimize Microsoft Fabric performance, cost and capacity
• Implement DataOps, automated testing and observability
• Establish CI/CD and release processes for Microsoft Fabric artifacts
• Develop reusable templates, frameworks and engineering standards
• Implement Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and technical stakeholders

What You Bring

• Strong experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Azure Synapse
• Strong experience with AWS
• Experience with Apache Spark / Spark Notebooks
• Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture
• Experience building data pipelines and data models
• Experience with BI and Data Analytics
• Experience with DataOps and modern data engineering practices
• Experience with CI/CD and release management
• Experience with automated testing and observability
• Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with data platform migration and modernization
• Understanding of Microsoft Fabric performance, cost and capacity optimization
• Ability to take technical ownership and solve complex data engineering challenges
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers
