Role Summary
An IT Project Manager is needed to lead the replacement of an existing ERP system supporting sales, supply chain, and finance functions. This consulting assignment has broad stakeholder impact and requires close coordination between business functions, IT delivery teams, architects, process owners, and external vendors.
The Project Manager will lead the initiative from planning through implementation and stabilization, balancing business continuity, quality, cost, and delivery timelines to achieve agreed business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ERP replacement project across planning, implementation, cutover, and stabilization phases.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Maintain the project plan and ensure effective project governance, reporting, communication, and stakeholder escalation.
- Clarify business requirements, assess process impacts, and coordinate solution analysis with business stakeholders, architects, process owners, and vendors.
- Coordinate implementation activities, testing, data migration, system integrations, cutover planning, and operational readiness.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues while supporting timely decision-making across cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment between business needs and IT delivery.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Experience delivering ERP implementation, replacement, or transition projects.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management, including planning, governance, reporting, risk management, issue management, and dependency management.
- Experience with Requirements Management and coordinating solution design activities.
- Experience coordinating Data Migration, system testing, cutover activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Experience managing System Integration dependencies across business and IT environments.
- Understanding of ERP support for sales, supply chain, and finance processes.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate has proven experience as an IT Project Manager in complex business transformation or system replacement initiatives. Experience with ERP implementation, replacement, or transition projects is required. The role requires experience managing multiple stakeholders, vendors, integrations, and cross-functional dependencies, as well as the ability to drive requirements, solution design, testing, data migration, cutover planning, and operational readiness.
