Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Controller to support a global transport and automotive organization within Research & Development in Södertälje.

The role focuses on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting and cost control. You will act as a strategic finance partner to management and business stakeholders while contributing to the development of future financial management models, processes and tools.

What You Will Work On

• Drive and support budget, forecast and planning processes
• Perform financial analysis, follow-up and reporting
• Monitor financial targets and KPIs
• Provide financial decision support to management and business teams
• Support cost control and business decisions through data-driven analysis
• Participate in strategic business decisions
• Improve financial processes, tools and controlling models
• Work closely with managers, leadership teams and business stakeholders
• Collaborate across an international matrix organization
• Analyze and communicate financial performance and recommendations

What You Bring

• Academic degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar
• 5+ years of Business Controlling or similar controlling experience
• Strong experience with:Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Financial planning
• Financial analysis
• Reporting
• Financial closing
• KPI follow-up
• Cost control

Experience supporting management teams and senior stakeholders

Strong business understanding and financial decision-support skills

Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Good experience with Power BI

Strong systems and data analysis skills

Ability to work independently, systematically and results-oriented
