Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to ensure that accurate, structured and high-quality source data is available for the platform and downstream analytics.

The role focuses on data modelling, master data validation and data quality, with hands-on experience in SQL, DDL, BigQuery, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with source-system owners, master data stakeholders, business teams and IT.

What You Will Work On

• Ensure source data is correctly structured, modelled and validated
• Validate master data and reference data
• Ensure data quality for items, hierarchies, market data, prices and related datasets
• Develop and maintain data models and information models
• Work with SQL and DDL
• Work with BigQuery, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform
• Coordinate with source-system owners and master data owners
• Investigate and resolve data-quality issues
• Collaborate with project managers, testers, product owners, developers, solution architects and integration teams
• Identify unclear requirements and proactively raise data-related issues

What You Bring

• Senior-level experience in Data Engineering / Data Quality
• Strong experience with information modelling and data modelling
• Strong SQL and DDL skills
• Experience with BigQuery
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Good understanding of master data, reference data and data quality
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
• Experience with data governance and data-quality processes
• Experience working with product/item data and complex hierarchies
• Experience from large enterprise data environments
• Experience coordinating with multiple source systems and data owners
