Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in building and maintaining data flows, data pipelines and analytical data solutions.

The role focuses on data engineering, data modelling, transformation, data quality and cloud-based data platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, source-system owners and data/information architects to make data reliable, secure and useful for analytics and decision-making.

What You Will Work On

• Build and maintain data flows for collecting, storing and processing large datasets
• Develop advanced data models and transformations for analytics and reporting
• Develop and optimize data pipelines with focus on efficiency and availability
• Work with data quality and data security
• Make data usable for analysts and decision-makers
• Drive best practices for code structure, data modelling and documentation
• Work with Jinja SQL and dbt
• Develop data solutions using GCP, BigQuery and Cloud Functions
• Develop data engineering solutions using Python
• Apply Kimball data modelling
• Work with GitHub CI/CD
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, source-system owners and data/information architects

What You Bring

• Minimum 6 years of experience building and maintaining data flows
• Minimum 6 years of experience with advanced data modelling and transformation
• Minimum 6 years of experience developing and optimizing data pipelines
• Minimum 6 years of experience with data quality and security
• Minimum 6 years of experience driving best practices in coding, data modelling and documentation
• Strong experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience with Jinja SQL and dbt
• Experience with GCP, BigQuery and Cloud Functions
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Kimball modelling
• Experience with GitHub CI/CD
