Senior Domain / Solution Architect – Banking & Payments - 19843

Assignment Description

We are looking for Senior Domain / Solution Architects with strong experience from banking and financial services to strengthen the Payments, Accounts & Deposits domain.

The role focuses on payments architecture, ISO 20022 and regulatory initiatives such as Instant Payment Regulation (IPR) and Payment Services Regulation (PSR). You will design and evolve business-critical solutions while working closely with Product Owners, Lead Designers, architects and development teams in an agile environment.

What You Will Work On

• Work as a Solution Architect within Payments, Accounts & Deposits
• Focus on ISO 20022, IPR and PSR-related initiatives
• Create, develop and implement solution architecture aligned with target architecture and architecture principles
• Provide architectural support across initiatives, programs and EPICs
• Design and support business-critical microservices-based solutions
• Work with Order Management solutions
• Support real-time processing of transactions and order flows
• Produce architecture designs, models and visualizations
• Work with architecture documentation and requirements management
• Collaborate closely with other architects across the organization
• Work with Product Owners, Lead Designers and development teams
• Participate in planning, estimation and delivery within an agile environment
• Ensure development and architecture processes are followed
• Monitor new technologies, standards, patterns and architectural blueprints
• Participate in internal and external architecture forums and communities
• Act as an ambassador for architecture and architectural governance

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent relevant education
• Several years of experience in IT development and architecture
• Strong experience designing and supporting business-critical microservices-based solutions
• Experience with Order Management solutions
• Experience with real-time processing of transactions and order flows
• Experience with architecture documentation, requirements management and system solution design
• Experience working in agile environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Previous experience within banking or financial services is required

Meritorious

• Experience within Accounts & Deposits
• Architecture certification such as TOGAF or equivalent
• Experience with regulatory change initiatives within the payments domain
• Strong knowledge of ISO 20022
• Experience with payment regulations such as IPR and PSR
• Experience with architecture governance and target architecture
