Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for an assignment within the banking sector.

The role combines hands-on development with system architecture understanding, code quality and knowledge sharing. Previous experience from banking operations is highly important for the assignment.

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute to system architecture and understand interactions between different system components
• Perform continuous code reviews and drive high code quality
• Identify and implement improvements to existing solutions
• Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders and other teams
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and competence development within the team
• Make independent technical decisions based on business needs and applicable regulations
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
• Communicate with stakeholders in both Swedish and English

What You Bring

• Strong professional experience in Java development
• Solid experience with Spring Boot
• Good understanding of system architecture
• Understanding of integrations and interaction between system components
• Experience performing code reviews
• Strong focus on code quality and maintainable solutions
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Good pedagogical ability and willingness to share knowledge
• Very good Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Previous experience within banking is strongly required
