Assignment Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect

What You Will Work On

• Define and design architecture for applications, services and APIs
• Drive the evolution of Developer Portal and Partner Service solutions
• Lead technical planning, development, deployment and maintenance
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Full-stack Developers
• Perform hands-on development and code reviews
• Design scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Work with microservices and event-driven architectures
• Design infrastructure, integration, security and software architecture
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS
• Work with AWS Serverless
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and AWS SAM
• Develop full-stack solutions using Node.js and TypeScript
• Work with GraphQL
• Contribute to Java Spring Boot development
• Design and maintain reusable components and technical patterns
• Ensure integration between backend and frontend systems
• Establish coding standards, testing strategies and best practices
• Drive performance, scalability, security and reliability improvements
• Evaluate new technologies and frameworks
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and architecture decisions
• Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on strategic direction

What You Bring

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering / architecture
• University degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with distributed systems
• Strong full-stack development expertise
• Expert knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong experience with GraphQL
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud and Serverless
• Experience with event-driven and microservice architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and AWS SAM
• Experience with Java Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, integration, security and software architecture
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Strong experience designing scalable and maintainable solutions
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring developers
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Valid Swedish work permit if not an EU citizen
