Senior Test Lead – Payment Systems & PSP Transformation - 20294

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced and independent Test Lead for a large-scale transformation project within the hospitality industry. The assignment focuses on replacing a Payment Service Provider (PSP) across multiple payment channels, business processes, systems and integrations in six countries.

You will lead and coordinate the end-to-end testing process, ensuring solution quality, business readiness and a successful production launch. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors across multiple workstreams.

What You Will Work On

• Define and manage the overall test strategy, methodology and test plan.
• Lead system testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure adequate test coverage across payment flows, business processes, systems and integrations.
• Develop test scenarios and coordinate test case preparation with business and technical teams.
• Coordinate test execution, defect management, retesting and test reporting.
• Monitor test progress, quality risks, dependencies and production readiness.
• Lead defect prioritisation and coordinate resolutions across teams and vendors.
• Support deployment validation and post-production verification.
• Act as the main point of contact for testing activities across teams.
• Support business stakeholders in planning, executing and approving UAT.

What You Bring

• Senior experience in test leadership for complex system implementations or transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading system testing, end-to-end testing and UAT.
• Strong practical experience in test planning, test design, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Experience coordinating testing across multiple workstreams, systems and stakeholder groups.
• Good understanding of system integrations and complex application landscapes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of the testing process.
• Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools.

Meritorious

• Experience in hospitality, travel, retail or omnichannel commerce.
• Experience with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and payment solutions.
• Understanding of payment flows, including authorisation, settlement, refunds, chargebacks and reconciliation.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, financial systems and payment platforms.
• Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), booking platforms and related hospitality systems.
