Role Summary
An experienced Senior Test Lead/Test Project Manager is required for a consulting assignment in a complex development environment. The role is responsible for leading and coordinating testing activities across the delivery area, with a strong focus on progress, quality, prioritisation and successful delivery.
You will work closely with delivery teams, support functions, external suppliers and other stakeholders to manage testing in an environment involving interconnected milestones, shared test environments and specific test-data requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, define test areas and ensure that relevant test cases are prepared.
- Plan, coordinate and drive the execution of system integration testing and acceptance testing.
- Lead day-to-day testing activities, ensuring clear priorities, progress tracking and quality throughout the test process.
- Manage dependencies in complex test environments, including shared environments across multiple milestones and test cases requiring dedicated test data.
- Coordinate with internal teams, support functions and external suppliers to enable effective test execution.
- Produce and maintain test documentation, follow up on completed testing and report test results to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute confident leadership in a high-complexity environment with many stakeholder interfaces and both operational and strategic test-related challenges.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test documentation and test-related follow-up.
- Experience planning and managing System Integration Testing and Acceptance Testing.
- Strong understanding of test planning, test-case preparation, test data management and test-environment dependencies.
- Experience coordinating testing during large-scale transformations or technical migrations.
- Experience working in complex enterprise system environments and with external vendors.
- Experience with Mainframe environments is advantageous.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate has several years of experience in test leadership within large organisations and complex system environments. Experience from major business transformations or technical transitions is required, as is background from the banking or insurance industry. The role requires fluency in written and spoken Swedish. The consultant should be comfortable taking a leading role, building trusted stakeholder relationships and driving collaboration across teams.
