Role Summary

An experienced Service Owner Analytics & Senior BI Developer is needed to combine hands-on business intelligence and analytics development with ownership of analytics services. The assignment focuses on delivering measurable business value by integrating data from multiple business areas, translating business processes into robust data models, and developing high-quality analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI and analytics solutions that create clear business value.
• Transform business processes and cross-functional data into scalable, robust data models.
• Build and evolve Databricks-based data engineering and analytics solutions using SQL and notebooks.
• Design semantic models, advanced DAX calculations, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
• Optimize report and data-model performance while applying visualization and BI development best practices.
• Own and prioritize analytics services, balancing practical development work with stakeholder management and delivery planning.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment using a structured, pragmatic, and delivery-oriented approach.

Technical Stack & Requirements

• Databricks: extensive practical experience with SQL, notebooks, data modeling, data engineering patterns, and analytics patterns.
• SQL: expert-level proficiency.
• Data modeling: deep understanding of translating business requirements into durable analytical data models.
• ETL/ELT and data architecture: strong experience designing and implementing data integration and architecture patterns.
• Power BI: advanced experience with semantic modeling, DAX, report design, performance optimization, and visualization best practices.
• Advantageous: Qlik Sense experience, particularly related to administration or migration of existing solutions.
• Advantageous: data preparation for AI/ML, Databricks AI capabilities, or analytical AI use cases.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate has several years of experience in BI and analytics development, with a documented ability to generate business value. Experience working with data across multiple business domains is required. The role also requires the ability to combine senior technical delivery with service ownership, stakeholder management, and prioritization. Domain knowledge from product, finance, marketing, commercial, or operations-related environments is advantageous.
