Site Setup / On-Site Support / 2nd Line Support

Role Summary

An independent and service-oriented IT Technician is needed for a consulting assignment focused on site setup, on-site user support, and second-line support. The role combines practical IT infrastructure work with direct user contact and coordination of local IT deliveries for offices and construction sites.

You will plan and establish new IT environments, provide technical troubleshooting, and manage the lifecycle of local IT environments from initial setup through decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide local on-site IT support and second-line support for users.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver IT setup activities for new offices and construction sites.
• Install and configure networks, printers, telephony equipment, and other IT hardware.
• Investigate, resolve, and follow up on incidents and service requests.
• Coordinate external suppliers and local IT deliveries.
• Maintain documentation, IT asset records, and system information.
• Support the full lifecycle of IT environments, including establishment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Manage multiple parallel support and delivery activities while ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and users.

Technical Stack & Requirements

• Network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Workplace IT support, including hardware, printers, telephony, and end-user equipment.
• Second-line incident and service request handling.
• ITIL-based service management processes.
• ServiceNow for service request and incident management.
• IT asset and system documentation management.

Qualifications & Experience

At least 3 years of experience in IT support or IT infrastructure is required. Candidates should have relevant IT education or equivalent practical experience, along with strong knowledge of networking, workplace IT, and technical troubleshooting. A valid Category B driving licence and access to a personal car are required. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently in a hands-on role with extensive user interaction and coordination responsibilities.
