Role Summary
An experienced Frontend Software Engineer is needed for a consulting assignment with a technology-intensive client in Linköping. The assignment involves developing and enhancing a modern web-based application for managing and visualising video and analytics data.
You will join a small DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility for its services, spanning architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. AI-assisted development is an integral part of the team's ways of working, with opportunities to explore new tools and methods that improve both the development process and the resulting product.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and deliver frontend functionality for a modern web-based application.
- Contribute to the management and visualisation capabilities for video and analytics data.
- Take shared responsibility for service architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with other development teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively contribute ideas and improvement proposals for the product and engineering practices.
- Explore and apply AI-assisted development approaches in day-to-day engineering work.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Strong professional experience with React for frontend development.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment with shared ownership across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Interest in AI-assisted development tools and methods for improving engineering workflows and product outcomes.
- Experience developing and delivering software products.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must have at least 5 years of professional software development experience, including experience developing and delivering software products. The role requires substantial React expertise and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment focused on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
