Assignment Description

We are looking for a Staff / Senior Distributed Systems Engineer

What You Will Work On

• Design and develop scalable distributed systems
• Build and maintain services for the Customer Communication Platform
• Design reliable backend architectures
• Develop event-driven and highly scalable services
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations
• Ensure high availability, performance and reliability
• Work with cloud-based backend solutions
• Analyze and improve system performance
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Collaborate with developers, architects and product teams
• Support and troubleshoot production systems
• Drive technical improvements across the platform

What You Bring

• Strong experience with distributed systems
• Staff/Senior-level backend engineering experience
• Strong system architecture and design skills
• Experience building scalable backend services
• Experience with Customer Communication Platforms
• Strong API and integration experience
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance and availability
• Experience operating production systems
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Meritorious

• Experience with Iterable
• Experience with similar customer communication platforms
• Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies
• Experience with C# / .NET or Java
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with microservices
• Experience with observability and monitoring
• Experience with CI/CD and continuous delivery
