Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Data & Environment Specialist / QA Automation Engineer to strengthen QA capabilities within a large and complex IT environment in Solna.

The role focuses on test data management, test environment management, QA strategy, automation and testability across multiple teams and initiatives. You will help establish standards, improve processes and remove bottlenecks while also contributing hands-on to technical solutions.

Experience applying AI and Generative AI to QA, synthetic test data, SaaS/PaaS/on-prem environments and automation is particularly relevant.

What You Will Work On

• Own and improve test data management across teams
• Manage and improve test environments
• Ensure reliable and representative test data is available when required
• Support test teams with suitable environments and data
• Identify and remove testability bottlenecks
• Collaborate with developers, testers, product and infrastructure teams
• Drive organization-wide QA standards, processes and best practices
• Contribute to overall test strategy and quality engineering practices
• Identify opportunities for automation and simplification
• Develop solutions for synthetic test data provisioning
• Apply AI and Generative AI to improve QA efficiency
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes
• Work hands-on with scripting, automation and technical solutions where required

• Strong experience with test data management
• Strong experience with test environment management
• Broad understanding of modern QA and software testing
• Experience working in large and complex IT environments
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS and on-premises systems
• Experience with test data provisioning and synthetic test data
• Experience applying AI / Generative AI in QA
• Strong understanding of test strategy and quality engineering
• Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Experience creating QA standards, processes and best practices
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent Swedish and English
